The resistor is a passive device that adds an extra load to prevent problems with the electronic check for a burned out bulb. Checking whether the bulb has burned out is done in two ways:
1. Signal continuity check - is current flowing through the system (including the bulb)
2. Load test - if the load is significantly different from the standard computer, it shows an error (this can happen when installing LED bulbs, which take much less current than ordinary bulbs) - in this situation, you need to choose an appropriate resistor that helps to eliminate the load difference "burnt out bulb" (and other on-board computer errors and messages, such as "no bulb", flashing lights, light disconnection or incorrect turn signal frequency)

System used in cars with CAN-Bus and others.
Attention! The resistor must be mounted on a metal element due to the possibility of heating.
